Privacy Policy — Web to Sheets

Web to Sheets ("the extension") is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains exactly what data is and isn't handled.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not collect, store, or transmit the contents of the pages you extract. Extraction happens locally in your browser, and the resulting data is saved directly to your device or your connected spreadsheet.
• We do not track your browsing history.
• We do not sell or share any personal data.

Data stored locally

The extension stores a small amount of data in your browser's local storage: a monthly row-usage counter (for the free tier) and your settings. This never leaves your device except as described below.

Pro features (optional)

• AI structuring: if you enable it, the visible structured content of the page you choose to extract is sent to your configured AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) to clean it into columns. This is opt-in and only runs when you click extract with AI enabled.
• Google Sheets / Notion sync: if you connect these, extracted data is sent to the service you authorize, using your own authentication.
• Payments: subscriptions are handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe. We never see your card details.

Permissions

The extension requests page access only to read a page when you explicitly click "Extract," and downloads permission only to save the file you request.
